Our fluorescence calibration beads ensure reliable evaluation of your detector’s sensitivity. Our fluorescence beads consist of 3 µm polystyrene particles with embedded fluorescent dye with defined MFI (Mean Fluorescence Intensity) values, enabling precise quantification of PMT performance. It is also possible to obtain particles with graded fluorescence intensities, which contributes to the validation of the linear response of detectors and amplifiers over a dynamic range. Fluorescence standards guide the optimal setting of PMT voltages to ensure both dim and bright signals are captured without saturation or loss. Single-color beads simplify spectral overlap correction in multicolor panels.
